The “Venipuncture Course” is held at Terem training centers. The course consists of six sessions and aims to train participants both theoretically and practically in the skill of venipuncture. The course is conducted under the supervision of the Laboratory Department of the Ministry of Health and according to its guidelines. A certification is granted by the Ministry of Health upon passing a theoretical and practical exam conducted by them after the course. Participation in the Ministry of Health’s certification exam requires full completion of the course, performing 100 blood draws externally, and a separate payment to the Ministry of Health for the exam.
The courses are held at Terem branches in: Jerusalem (Romema Sarei Israel), Karmiel, and Be’er Sheva.
